May Half Term
Dear children in 6P, 6C and your wonderful families,
We have made it to half-term! Congratulations to you all for all of your hard work over the past few weeks. It has been a joy to hear from you all over the phone, receive messages from you and see examples and photos from your home learning!
Well done to all who participated in the Silly SATs- check out the gallery of photos which should put a smile on your faces of some of the entries. You certainly made myself and Mr Cassidy laugh and it was great to see your determination and competitive side coming out.
We are both aware how hard it must be as the weeks are going on: missing your friends, school and life as normal. We feel exactly the same. Use this next week to relax and ‘re-charge your batteries’ ready for the final half-term in Year 6 which we know sadly won’t be what we had all been hoping for.
If you wanted some ideas of activities to keep you busy over the next week, there are a few examples on this page. We hope you enjoy the ideas! Make sure that you get outside and enjoy the sunshine and some fresh-air in a safe way.
Looking forward, as your teachers, we know that you all have the strength, resilience and positive mind-sets to approach the next few weeks in the St Michael and St Martin way and will continue to make us all proud.
Wishing you all a lovely half-term.
Miss Ponter and Mr Cassidy
