Meet Ray, our lovely Granfriend who comes to school twice a week.

Ray spends time with lots of different children, giving them an opportunity to form friendships across the generations; learning from their wisdom and creating a sense of connection and belonging for both parties.

Ray has had such an impact on the empathy, language and social skills of the children. The simple activities that the children and Ray do together create a rhythm that feels like family. We love witnessing in real time how intergenerational relationships can have such a positive impact on everybody involved.
