We are presently working with Eco-schools and Hounslow council to achieve a bronze award.
Eco schools is the largest sustainable schools programme in the world and aims to empower students to be the change our world needs. It provides our school with a 7 step change process, led by the school council, to help our children to make a difference, for the better, wherever they can.
At the moment we recycle throughout the school, but we know there is room for improvement. The school councillors are responsible for the organisation and emptying of the recycling around the school and show great independence and maturity in doing so. They campaigned for better facilities so,as a result, we now have new, larger bins to recycle paper and card both inside the school and outside.
We will continue to work through the Eco schools process to make our school an even greener place.
