• RE Inspection 2022 - OUTSTANDING in all areas!

  Dear Parents, 

   

  It is with great pleasure that we share our report following our recent R.E Inspection. Our children were wonderful ambassadors and a great credit to you, their parents. We are so proud of them, who together with our staff have worked so hard and with dedication to achieve such high standards in Religious Education. We are immensely proud to share that we have been graded OUTSTANDING in every area!

  “ Pupil achievement is outstanding… Pupil behaviour is outstanding…interactions observed during lessons between staff and pupils and peer to peer are exceptional.”

   

  The inspectors made particular reference to the high level of spirituality and reflection within our pupils.

  “Pupils demonstrated a very reverent and prayerful attitude in the recital of the rosary in Mary’s garden and in a Year 6 pupil led gospel assembly.”

   

  We especially thank those parents who met the inspectors and also those that returned the questionnaire. It is greatly appreciated.

  “Parents were extremely appreciative of the school...”

   

  “Parents who met the inspectors spoke highly of the different ways the school provides for their children, how it nurtured the faith of the pupils and how this impacted on their own spiritual development and family life.”

   

  School leadership is graded as outstanding.

  “The school's leadership is fully committed to the church’s mission in education and demonstrates this in a dynamic and consistent way. Leadership is outstanding.”

   

  We thank our Governing Body for their continued support and guidance to us all.

  “The governors play an active role and offer excellent support and challenge to the leadership of the school in strategic matters.”

   

  We can indeed be very proud of our whole school community; it is my privilege to be the Headteacher of this wonderful and highly successful Catholic school. We are clearly reflecting our mission: ‘Learning our faith, living our faith, loving our faith’, which “is embedded in every aspect of the school. It is understood by pupils and lived daily by all members of the school community.”
