School closed yesterday 20th July 2022 for the summer holidays.

We look forward welcoming you all back into school on Monday 5th September 2022 for the new autumn term (except Nursery and Reception who have a phased start)

RESCHEDULED Yr1 Trip - Whipsnade Zoo - Monday 11th July 2022

Year 1 will be visiting Whispnade Zoo tomorrow, Monday 11th July 2022 for their rescheduled school trip.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is for very warm weather and with this in mind Mrs Duggan has asked that children wear their school PE Kit - yellow polo shirt and shorts and a sun hat.

Please ensure that you also apply sun lotion to your child before school, that they have a good supply of water and a healthy packed lunch as requested in our previous communication relating to this trip.

Yr1 Whipsnade Trip - Postponed

Yr1 will take place in a school based fun day today 28th June 2022.

Today is a a mufti day for Yr1 only.

IMPORTANT REQUEST : Uniform Friday 17th June 2022

As you are aware the weather forecast on Friday 17th June 2022 is expected to be extremely hot.

With this in mind we are asking that all children come to school in their PE kits - shorts and tee shirts.

Please also ensure that you apply sun cream to your child(ren) before school, that they have their school cap and their water bottle.

As always please ensure that all uniform is clearly labelled (hats included). There should be no need for children to bring in any school jumpers or cardigans on this.

We have had a fabulous weekend with the Yr6 children.

They have been a joy to be with and a credit to you all. Every single child made every attempt to try out all the activities and really pushed themselves out of their comfort zone. They have supported each other, cheered their group members on and danced themselves silly!

We are very proud of them all for their manners, courage and determination.They have represented our school so well!

Thank you for a wonderful time from all of the very tired leaders.

Yr6 PGL Update - 5.10pm

We are now on the M3 in Sudbury and are on track for a 5.30pm arrival at Maitland Close. Please remember that we will need to unload on arrival.

As per our update at 3.55pm, following the delay due to traffic on the A31 our ETA remains 5.30pm at Maitland Close.

Currently stuck in heavy traffic on the A31. Our ETA is now 5.30pm although this is still dependent on traffic.

We will update with any further changes when we have them.

Finally all on board the 🚌 and leaving site now.

We are still hoping to arrive at 5pm ⏰ but will update you when we are closer to home as this ETA is depending on traffic.

Everyone is settling in for a little sleep 😴 (hopefully) so that we are refreshed on our arrival to tell you all about our adventures 😃

Yr6 PGL Update - 1.40pm

We have just finished our final lunch here at PGL and are having one last play before we help to load the coach for our homeward bound journey.

We will be sad to leave PGL but are looking forward to seeing our loved ones later to share all of our holiday news.

Our estimated time of departure from PGL is currently 2.15pm.
